MEET PIPPA HUGHES
ABOUT ME

My world has always revolved around food and eating. I grew up with a family that would always discuss lunch plans whilst eating breakfast and plan dinner whilst eating lunch. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember, whether it being for private parties or family and friends or just following my mum around in the kitchen, trying to copy everything she did.

Once finishing school I completed The Orchards Cookery School's 2 week program where I refined my cooking skills and learnt new tricks of the trade. Having completed this course I worked as a chalet chef in Morzine for a winter season. From there I have worked in various positions, ranging from being a cafe cook for an opera company to cooking for a family in their home in Menorca.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at The University of Edinburgh for four years and worked as a chef throughout the holidays. I am now working as a freelance chef and I strive to design bespoke menus for my clients to help them create their perfect evening. My cooking revolves around what is in season at the time and gathering the freshest of ingredients.
